Forecast saying gusts up to 82kph for tomorrow!!! Hottest temp in 2 week forecast is 22* then a couple days of 26 to 28*.
Luckily we have been getting some nice soaking rain the past 24 hours.

Most are forecasting above normal Temps after the week end.
I think we have over 7 inches since the winter snow left.
Generally doesn't look too bad for water laying here.
All the places that are bad when it's bad have some water. But if it stops for a whilea and we get some heat should be good.

We are sitting at about 2.75 inches since May 1. Forecast out next 10 days looks dry. Crops are off to a very good start but will soon run out of gas without more rain. Fingers crossed!

I think the last few years have dried us out many inches down. The good rains to date will not finish the crops to their potential. Will need more to grow the crop and replenish the soil moisture deficit.

When it CALMS Down im putting some echo bran out for all the hoppers that have hatched - tiny nymphs still on edges

Huge T storms in area yesterday. 2" with hail in an hour, flood! Varies in a few miles, 4-8" since May 1.

Crop too small to use that amount, saturated, now lack of oxygen, mainly till now TOO COLD!

Water logged fields are ugly and I know the feeling of when the oxygen is pushed out of the soil.
We are borderline of being in that state and if I that storm would have hit here the crop would have suffered terribly.
I think we are about 1.2 inches this week with continued cool temps.

We are a bit over 5" now since mid April. No sloughs yet but will start on the next rain i would guess. Lentils and peas are emerged and so clean i am leaning towards not spraying them. Authority and Focus working amazingly well. SW sask Lancer/Leader area.

Last year we averaged 3" across our farm during growing season. Feels like we have reached average crop potential now.

iwould imagine the fungicide is filling sheds right now ? Absolutely must be major concern with very wet soils at this point
