With temp close to 0 tonight how soon can spraying begin tomm. Most herbicides say minimum 15 or is that just to cover there ass. Have some barley that’s ready, using bandit and axial

The emergence this year was pretty nice but the wind day after day really dried out the fields. We’ll need a good soaker to keep this train on the tracks. Waking up to a big ZERO on the thermometer this morning wasn’t all that encouraging.

Try loading canola for a train at CG in 116 gusts.

This is not shingle country. Learned decades ago that overkill by 4" spike strapping 2"x6"s to rafter tops followed by tin was the only thing that was lifetime workable in this area. Otherwise, always on the roof repairing shingle tears.

We went to the Weyburn Oil Show. Outdoor display tents, some were abandoned. The rest were manned by real troopers cooking grub for cap (less) attendees that braved the grounds. Even with the elements, it was a fun time.

By looking at several forecasts , it’s going to be a real dog fight again this week for spraying
yesterday it looked like might even get one full day in now that there is no risk of frost But still going to be a challenge daily
