Stuff still grows but slow.

I appreciate the Nutrien guys trying to do a look ahead, but they did that all last summer too and were 100% wrong. Sure is looking like a weird season. Dont like the cold fronts and cold nights slipping in here. 5 or 6 deg overnight, warms up in the day then a wicked wind with it.

Froze here too this morning. One should always expect summer freezes when there is global boiling going on though. It is getting firm enough to spray so when the crop starts to recover from the frost, spraying will commence.

Just narrowly avoiding that this month, but at the rate of crop development, could be karma in Sept. Canola here is 3 weeks behind yours.

I looked at some lentils at Lumsden. They are a foot tall and totally canopied. Ours are 1 1/2 inches tall.

3/4 inch so far it can stop now that's enough. Still some people without power from the wind the day before. Only found two trees on fence line while checking pastures and no lightning strikes that I could find.
