Looking at last year’s notes and on June 18 of last year we finished our 2nd pass on all canola, I’m starting my first pass on canola today. That puts this year’s crop about 2 weeks later at this point, need some heat and sun going forward.

Seeding and reseeding still going on in Manitoba . Think we all know what we will be still doing on thanksgiving weekend Son was spraying wheat while I cut some hay we will see if I get it up dry before the next shower.

last year exactly this time we had our best crop ever, then it hit a wall and ended up very poor, hail then drought .

Finally getting some heat. Relations at High Level said they’re having a heat wave right now. Not bloody fair lol. Funny though yesterday was a bit warmer and today good, and boy did crops grow. We’re probably 2 weeks behind on development. Hired man getting bitchy cause he knows we’ll be combining wheat and cutting canola at same time. He gets stuck in swather.
