Friday Crop Report on a Thursday week 11

Oh its cold wet windy and rainy week with a tornado warning or two thrown in for good luck. Not a lot of spraying done except for Sunday that was it.

Trudeau is going after Farmers and any one with assets. He pissed away Billions so now its your going to be broke have nothing and like it.

CANADA sucks with the Trudeau/Jag team.

Crop report.

The seeding is 99% complete, with just the organic guy and the cowboys seeding green feed.

Most farmers arecspraying when they can but the 60 km wind some days hurt.

Rain for week so far is 1.5 to 2 inches withyear total at 5 since may 1.

Hay fields look awesome.

Pastures look great.

Early wheat is a 10.but later is catching up. Barley early is a 10 but also later catching up.

Peas and lentils excellent with most sprayed.

Flax filling in and can see rows.

Canola all over the board from excellent to patchy to later stuff looking better than early.

Flea eating but chem is working so far.

Canola will need heat soon and spray for weeds or the yield potential will drop.

So all looks great so far but excess rain is needed to stop for a couple of weeks.

Keep safe, talk to other farmers and relax its only a crop and they are going to **** you on price any way.

Lots and lots of guys started to clean out their grain bins. Lineups at the terminal.

fences are getting fixed and lots of pasture coming out of pasture to be grain land. Or sown back down.

Yes i have and yes we have fall prices locked in that are good. But then the rest we will see what comes.

Canary 30% drowned out.
Canola is mixed bag. Some fields *u ked, others somehow holding on. Weather is causing slow growth and the beetle treatment is running out of steam.

Overall sitting at 6/10 rating and deteriorating fast.

fertilizer is ****ed for early buy. Real ****ed.

canola drops because the drought is over in their minds but reality is the crop is getting later each cold damp day. We would have some flowering farm progress show Friday not this year. 45 days is the cycle for frost and the next day is Aug 1. If it doesn’t smarten up.

Mud is a dud!

SF3... you and I need to trade for just one year. Don't take it personally, but by god, I'd like just one year where I had 10% of my real estate flooded out. Im sure I'd come to hate it, but damn if it was only one year I think I might *like* pulling drills/combines/sprayers out of the mud. We were close here this spring, and then the tap shut off. Dare I even say though that we're "praying for rain" again. This country... One day it's feathers and ever so very rarely you get to have chicken dinner!
