Friday Crop Report on a Thursday week 11

On the last section and a half of wheat to spray. Storm coming from Montana. Flooded areas getting bigger but cropaid maybe helping out with less water sitting than other years.

Early seeded canola here looks awesome, but we snuck by frost here for the most part

Flee beetle heaven here.

Oats all sprayed, finished the flax tonight and started cleaning the sprayer for canola. Flea beetles starting to chew so will have to check fields tomorrow to see what plan of action is next.

And the other issue.
Spraying crops that are turning yellow from water logged soil would be similar to spraying them when they are turning blue from drought.
When they are struggling to grow chem isn’t the best for them.

Yes , just a bit of wheat here that could be sprayed but it’s hurting and yellow. I’ve sprayed on fields that were borderline too wet the past couple years just to get them done and noticed a yield hit so going to hold off and hope the weather straightens out.

Overnight lows the next several days still very cool

Some days when spraying Liberty I think the Law Society [tort division] talked BASF into mixing in some helium molecules into their product.

Another inch of rain in thundershower. Wheel tracks have water. Pushing 10 in. this year.

Hoping this ones stays south. Dont really need it right now. Looks like a disaster in northern US corn belt.

Over an inch more rain from last nights thunder downpour ,very thankful i got finished spraying wheat yesterday
