Wheat is growing nice now , restored that MF a few years back ,only British built 178 i have ever seen here , gave her a run out today , started tractor driving on one of them

Them green sprayers need a couple on hand in case they breakdown, red ones more reliable. Putting on our skinnies on today, should be fun dodging water holes doing our fungicides.

it pays to buy two ground and do it yourself?

Two ways to look at I think
do half and get the other 1/2 done by chopper
even the green sprayers cost at least $8 to run with fuel , depreciation and labour costs
depreciation on sprayers is huge cost now
plus wheel tracks and then harrowing
probably even cost, or cheaper by chopper

They say boys never grow up ,the toys just get bigger ! some very nice older JD s you have , i know well what its like , must get it because its a different model or year or has some unique feature etc , i go for Mostly UK built tractors that i drove or were very popular when i started running tractors
