Used to make to make 20-0-0 melting 46-0-0 urea fines from the dust collectors at the production plant.

Lost interest in that pretty quick.

Mean downpour here this evening. 9/10 to over and inch and hail. Few quarters of canola 100%. Going out first thing to assess damages. Rain was a godsend and probably will do us for a while but damage from hail.

Hail planes working overtime here last night. Good lightning show lots of dark clouds, but it went around us.
I think the crops could have appreciated a drink after the 35°, we had a couple of days ago. See a bunch of canola looking silver even at 8:00 last night with the leaves all folded up turned up.

Not good timing for day after day of highs over 30°. Canola ranges from bolting to full flower in the area. I haven't checked for blanks yet.

Wheat and barley are loving the heat. The later canola is catching up in a hurry. No shortage of moisture in my immediate area

Haying is going full throttle. Yields are poor.

Had hail for 15-20 minutes
hit 6500 acres
out assessing this morning
could have been worse
.5 to 1.2 in. rain probably be more beneficial than hail damage from what I see so far
extremely glad we did fungicide/ alpine and crop aid mix on 60% so far
will absolutely do every acre now
have to mitigate damage now
