45 bu wheat crop at 6 bucks doesn’t pay many bills. Throw in a rail strike and see where prices go.

Some nice crop in this pocket but one big hail storm and it gone
also have to make it past the week on the full moon August 19
we could have a good crop , a half a crop or nothin .
yields determined in grain cart , time will tell .
potential already down 20% from 2 weeks ago , and we on a very lucky area up to this point so far
still a month to go here

Here, we've been getting more like double wheat yield to Canola yields. last year almost exactly double. This year as it looks today, we could be closer to triple.
At current prices, wheat makes far more money than canola does.
I keep asking myself why I should keep growing canola at all.
