I was talking to a local broker this morning from the Lacombe area. He said farmers he has talked to in the Lacombe Camrose area are projecting yields in the 50% of average yield range. Yields still going down on a daily basis. No rain in the forecast. Saskfarmer always enjoy your effort but there are certainly times you could temper your arrogance.

In the special areas, unless you're under center pivot water, those are the things absolute dreams are made of... If i could double crop insurance, I could do 48 cwad (1 in 15 maybe?), 66 peas (i dont think its ever been done), and 18 mustard (ive been close, so maybe 1 in 20?), if i grew canola, 45-50 depending on insurable area (it's been done, maybe 1 in 15).
