A little excerpt from the Press Release states:

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 2, 2007) - Polaris Geothermal Inc. ("Polaris Geothermal" or the "Company")(TSX:GEO), a renewable energy geothermal power producer, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Polaris Energy Nicaragua ("PENSA"), has entered into well drilling contracts for the drilling of production and re-injection wells to triple its generation capacity at the San Jacinto geothermal field in Nicaragua."

Polaris Geothermal Inc sounds like a typical company related to pollution prevention. Would Nicaraqua buy carbon creditis?.
I'll bet a geothermal company would value carbon credits on their financial sheets. You too?
You can check out any company you want at www.sedar.com if you want to check out carbon credit worth, as that is the place where all 'Company's Profiles' records are kept. I like to 'View the Company's' documents although sometimes it takes a few minutes to load say, 830plusK.
Of course you have to remember that there is a CONFIDENTIALITY restriciton on the dissemination of any material from this particular website, but the important thing is this...what you learn directly results from how thoroughly you read.
The dreary part is waiting for documents to load, but have a beer.
Parsley
PS Use the search tool in your PDF and type in carbon credits or just carbon if you are searching any websites for carbon credit info. I shouldn't Yap any more.
