Unfortunately our place was beat up pretty badly by hail on Monday night, most fields that were hit were a combination of heavy rain , high wind and hail one of the fields was a very good crop of yellow peas under a pivot so tall and very lush that had no colour change to it quite yet with pods or seed yet the peas are firm and probably
about 10 days from starting changing, they are however about 60 percent damaged and a solid mat about 8 inches thick and extremely wet underneath from the 1.5 inches of rain on a field that was close to capacity .
Are these going to change colour or just rot?
Forecast calling for temps in high 20s but also potentially showers again next week.
