This weather reminds me of the eighties. Hit and miss rain. Wild storms but not a lot of moisture. Erratic yields, high interest and being piss broke. Funny how what goes around comes around. Sucks ass

3/4 inch this morning with big light show needed 4 more hrs to finnish barley oh well. Beans and corn will drink that up quick and maybe pasture will get it's second wind. Neighbor knocked down hydro pole with new auger last night on a corner turn some guys still without power. Some of our RM roads not built for these bigger units.

Looks like we may not miss this one on Wednesday/ Thursday
was fortunate and missed most the past 7-10 days storms and rain
Got peas off then got to lentils yesterday. They have curled a 180 and now upside down , going to be a major pain in the …
Have a fair amount of wheat dry and ready now too , the few rain delays we had sure puts harvest behind extremely fast .
Should have several fields of wheat off by now .
But we have been fortunate not to get the heavy rains and or hail so far that many have had . That’s a nightmare situation for this time of year , especially with a heavy canopy and disappointing yields .
Fuel is going to be a kicker on most farms this fall .
The grain prices dropping as well has really set a mood that’s not good across most areas .
The next two days is that once a year when one could use a whole fleet of combines to try and get decent dry grain off before the next rain .
traders remember, all the summer projections and satellite images don’t mean much until the crop gets actually harvested .
Crop quality in cereals and remaining pulse crops is going to be dismal on a huge scale, that can’t be predicted very well either .
