put me down for climate change real just not man made along the same lines as Farm ranger and Adam Smith

Some more books and speakers to look up are from Dr. Patrick Moore, PH.D, PH.D in Ecology Co founder of Green Peace look him up he is the real deal on environmentalism Not a big fan on Kyoto and the like. Says the environmental movement has been hijacked by failed socialists and the PETA's of the world.
He talked at the A.U. annual members meeting and was perhaps the best speaker there.

The socialist fanatics, who once were religous social gospel types, are getting ready to move into the enviro-gospel.

Here are the parallels;it cant be proven or disproven;calls on faith then;labels disbelievers as heretics using intimidation rather than argument.

Whether we're talking 1. God/heaven;2.climate change or 3.cwb final payments:YOUR REWARD OR PUNISHMENT WILL COME AFTER YOUR DEAD,not in this lifetime. The believers can never be wrong.

        winwin,

        What is "wrong"?

        The GOD I have put my faith, hope and trust in has these attributes;

        1) He gives complete choice to believe... or not to believe he exists

        2) He tells me I am responsible for what I do, and will reap what I sow.

        3) He gives my heart and mind confidence that all things will work for the best... if I Love him, and my neighbour... as myself.

        4) If I am wrong, and my God doesn't exist... there is no afterlife...I have lived a loving, free, caring life that respects others rights to be responsible for themselves...

In the #4 senerio... it won't matter anyway... NO LOSS!

I call this a winwin... any way you want to take it! (Pun Intended!)

          Nice post Tom4cwb.
I would say that to lump God/heaven into the same category as the cwb is not really in the same category.

Geo-thermal=taking steam from the earth and spinning a turbine and creating electricity

Groud source heat pumps=transfering heat from the ground to your house or whatever, also works with bodies of water. Also works in reverse.

I dont know how the termonology got so screwed up.Maybe because geo-thermal just sounds cooler.

I was wondering about my 112 per square mile fact.

I think it was frannysisco who said what does pop density have to do with global warming, which the answer is-"everything".

What does everyone think of this fact?
              It must give you pause.
Maybe a little perspective you might not have considered.

It seems to have shut parsly up.

I gave you an anwser but it went over your head. Again.

You live in a G7 country.

                You'll figure it out.

                Someday.

"It seems to have shut parsly up." lol

CP, is it over-population that your referring to? The 112/sq. mi. figure you are so worried about should be lowered significantly once the global warming holocaust starts wiping out cities across the globe.....

Saying that overpopulation is causing global warming is like lighting a match in your basement and saying that you are heating your house.

You want to chew on some numbers? Try these.

Much of the world's actual land surface is empty.

In 1992, the population of Hong Kong City was approximately 247,501 per square mile, while in New York City it was 11,480 per square mile, and in Houston 7,512.

If the entire population of the world were squeezed into Texas, each person would have an area equal to the floor space of a typical home and the population density of Texas would be about the same as Paris, France.

                        And...

The growth rate of the world's population appears to have peaked around 1970, when the annual rate of growth was 2.09 percent.

By 1980, annual population growth was down to 1.73 percent, and by 1990 to 1.7 percent.

By 1995, the annual increase had slowed even more to 1.5 percent.

                        And so on.

The number of people on the planet is not a problem and it's never going to be one.

Besides which I like people, I'm pretty sure I'm people. And I'm not interested in getting rid of people.
