Lease payments on new equipment with dealer support too high, rents they paid to squeeze out the neighbours too high, the blanket spraying program no longer affordable, long transport distances too costly....

My take on this reading motivated me to look at, “human cost” and the need to keep oneself a bit humble. One can imagine the glory of immense success but depending on the means to that end, the human cost may be too high. Contentment, empathy, humbleness, kindness, wisdom and gratitude are invaluable personal traits one can attain in life.
Anyone who can carry and live these traits has realized immense success in life that is a great example and inspiration to all of those around them.

Seems to be affecting majority around me. Max stress.
I say happiness is being satisfied with less, or enough.
I thrive on stress.
Stress isn't even the right word, intensity might be a better word.
I need that as motivation.
My mental health used to suffer when the stressful busy seasons come to an end. In recent years it manifests itself in physical symptoms.
My father was literally paralyzed with anxiety. I suppose I grew up watching that and took the opposite attitude.
