It's getting closer to the trigger point for some of it.

flax should be worth 20 bucks minimum for the following reasons that nobody seems to want to pay for:
decrease in yeild
increased cost in straw managment
increased cost in threshing (fuel/major wear and tear)
increase cost for weed controle in yrs following flax, poor competitor
loss of yeild in next crop due to baking of ground and major loss of moisture for next season
lots of dockage 5% is very good more like 7-10% and if you suck 15% not uncommon
does not store well and takes extra effort to condition flax for long term storage.
niche markets to sell into
challenging to grow, definitely not a seed it and forget it crop...

however if your a sucker for punishment like me... it is the most rewarding crop to grow when you absolutely nail it.
