    It appears we are now an ABC: Anything But Canadian nation: pea imports are regulated by tariffs. Russia is an approved lentil supplier now. However, lentil demand remains somewhat insulated due to Western Canadian predominance in supply.

    Never say never! Importers will define "Much" in the future unless we can restore our status and "Goodwill" in trading relationships.

    Western Canada, mainly Saskatchewan, has a tremendous investment as a supplier of pulses and potash, which all require global trade to be viable.

    We cannot afford to ignore the wreckage on our doorsteps.
