      Clearly that sux. But its not going to fix itself. And we can't screw over the dairymen who in good conscience paid millions of dollars for a piece of paper. That buyout is only going to get worse the longer we put off making it.

        My memory isn't great and I'm not wanting to dredge up old fights. Original buyout for the crow rate was $50b, remember pepin?....but the nfu and other orgs trying to protect farmers kept the gov kicking the can down the road till gooddale just hammered down and said a billion take it or leave it, the crow is dead.
        I don't have an answer for how the quota system needs to be resolved but I do agree Family farms with a lot of quota debt should be very wary of what may come.
        Actually any farm with a bunch of debt should be very wary...lol
