Wish list 2025.

https://www.syngenta.ca/market-news/canola-ending-stocks-revised-sharply-lower-with-smaller-crop

This news is what Weber has been telling us since September!

Trusted data is essential. What is the damage from insufficient data?

In farming, we focus on solutions to problems everyday. How can we translate this into policy?

What policy is on your wish list for 2025?

Mine is: We need an election, but what we should have learned from the #LNDP coalition is:

Constitutional reform is necessary to deal with the Parliamentary dictatorship created at
Confederation.

Please add to the wish list for 2025.

Merry Christmas all!

A: An Export Sales Reporting Program
B: A concentrated effort to let the world know we are already number one - see below
C: The pendulum moves back to the center/right in politics cause it is so far left today, it is frightful. If you need examples, head over to Rural Issues.

I can’t like this list enough. Many farm groups make a priority list each year on things to tackle, however they change the list every year and very little get accomplished (example APAS; export sales, grain contracts, rail movement, farm programs).

Pick an issue and get something resolved.. preferably starting with export sales.

Really think Australia will get another downgrade may not be huge but most think Australia's crop is over estimated

Canola acres getting smaller on my ranch. Trying out some peas and maybe go back to putting cow chow and barley on wheat stubble. If Brazilian crop turns out close to what they project it’s $12 canola or even less. China will use anything for gut grease. They probably render dissidents for tallow if they could save a buck.
