Sorry for your loss. From your posts it is obvious that family has always been important. Don't lose sight of that.

When the time comes that the workload becomes too much don't be afraid to down size alittle.

      Condolences woodland.

The 4 petri dishes that we have around here have kept Mr, and Mrs Helmsdale under the weather for the last couple weeks. Seems like you no sooner feel better from one bug and you end up catching another. Kids power through... Youngest had the stomach flu and he'd just grip either side of the bowl and giver shit, then when his belly felt better he'd head to the kitchen table and demand food! Then that'd roll around for maybe half an hour and right back to the bowl. Rinse... Repeat...

Currently wrapping my two oldest boys "first" toolboxes with goodies to be wrapped inside. Mrs and the kids are off to church but I can barely talk so decided to stay home and do some of the wrapping that usually takes place after midnight. No way either of us is making midnight tonight.

Santa wants a hot toddy, some buckleys, and enough pain killers to sleep till at least 7am.

      Merry Christmas

My deepest sympathies Woodland to you and your family. Judging from the picture your dad looked like he had many years left to contribute to the world. A few months before my dad passed, he said he never regretted one day of going to "the shop", which he did a lot. I'm sure your dad felt the same when heading out to do chores.
