What did he say was going to happen for western Canada?

warmer periods interspersed with colder outbreaks...snow at times then a period of dry weather followed by warming period in the spring. showers at times followed by drier periods allowing field work to be done in a somewhat timely manor. summer time heat building then some cooler showery periods. weather variable throughout the world but mostly conducive to growing another big crop, except for small unimportant parts of the world.

Most likely our area will get screwed over again with 1/2 averages while others get bumper crop again
been the pattern for several years

Couldn’t have written it any better myself.

lol. I actually didn't listen...but I have heard him many times over the years. He does a lot of studying and research and time developing a talk and all he (or any weather prognosticator... Burnette, Snodgrass) really says is we can't really reliably predict what the weather will be much past 3 -4 days.
same goes for the highly sought after marketing gurus.

I like to listen to as many predictions as possible and then average what I hear to determine a plan.

We read the pig spleen prediction as well. I think there is some agreement between those two as to the short term forecast. Not liking the fact March will cooler.

Pin point your area and understand he is never far off from the summer weather.

As soon as the high gets stalled in Saskatchewan in the summer our temps go up and rain is cancelled.

So yes I subscribe and one of the best but I still use others for balance.

Nutrient guy is good at describing storms coming.

Everytime it warms up here it snows if it keeps this up guys won't be worried about soil moisture come seeding. Looks like normal weather so far and snow we have hasn't blown into the bush or ditches.
