Friday Cocktail plus the news of the week.

    Good morning,

    It's D-Day.

Canada is trying to fight a trade war with Team Barbie instead of just fixing our ****ing border and get our shit together in Canada.

Sask and Alberta should be in the same page and get oil out of the agreement and maybe potash and grain.

Both ALBERTA AND SASK are working on the border and getting security in place to deal with the border.

Its not about trade just do your job. Liberals can't figure that out.

400000 people signed up to the liberal party to vote. Im voting for Ruby lips and my dog is voting the same. Liberals free and fancy led to this shit show coronation.

Carney is worse than Trudeau that's known.

Grain had a great week and then Friday hits and down down we go.

Trump just said Feb. 1 Canada and Mexico get 25% tariffs.

    We are doomed.

Canola and wheat were having such a great week then the shit show hit overdrive.

Bad storm on its way again for Saskatchewan. Florida is ok after the snow 80 to 87 the next couple of weeks.
Back in Florida and enjoying the hearings for ministers of the Trump government.

If I missed anything else add.

    Ah lets have a drink.

    Blackberry Mint Julep

    Ingredients:
    - 1/4 cup fresh blackberries, plus extra for garnish
    - 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
    - 1 ounce simple syrup
    - 2 ounces bourbon
    - Crushed ice
    - Club soda (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. **Muddle Ingredients:**
    - In a julep cup or a tall glass, muddle the blackberries, mint leaves, and simple syrup together until the blackberries are well crushed and the mint leaves are bruised to release their flavor.

    2. **Add Bourbon:**
    - Fill the glass with crushed ice and pour the bourbon over the ice. Stir well to combine.

    3. **Top Off (Optional):**
    - If desired, top off with a splash of club soda for a lighter drink. Stir gently.

    4. **Garnish and Serve:**
    - Garnish with a sprig of mint and a few whole blackberries. Serve immediately.

Enjoy your delicious and refreshing Blackberry Mint Julep!?

Again if I missed some news let me know.

Could be another chip in BTOs, maybe having some issues getting major cash for purchases for land. Are the investors getting nervous as markets show they don't care about your costs.

If you look under some rocks, the Davos alumni aren't done with us yet.
The flaws in our system keep manifesting.
Essentially similar to no government on Sept 1 1939. The Idiot King should be sued and every alumni member pilloried.

Northern shitholistan is the wef prototype state. It used to be that new zealand and oz were in the running but their democracies are more functioning than ours are so they have pulled back a bit from the brink. Our voting system is gerrymandered by design with votes in welfareville worth far more than ones in more productive regions. So the lieberals are within the margin of fraud with very little support. Just a few busloads of ineligible voters in key ridings make all the difference. Alberta needs to get on with separation now otherwise we deserve our fate. Just wondering how equitable the electoral systems are in those countries. Maybe Landownunder could comment.

Our neighbor shouldn't punish their neighboring citizens because of the idiots that govern them. Hopefully change is on the way, patience.

Tariffs go on at midnight tonight.

Justin and team Canada for the loss.

                Quebec asks for compensation.

                Of course, they would.

IMO...here's what's coming. Forget the bluster and listen to what trump says.

                  1) the Canadian auto sector gets moved to Michigan.
                  2) supply management is dead.
                  3) any other industry that makes stuff can come to the US for low taxes, if you stay in Canada you'll get tariffed.

Oil and gas will be exempt because we sell to them at a discount, they process it there and ship it back to us at world prices.

Quebec dairy and Ontario manufacturing are toast.

The time and money required for SM dismantle would take years and make stabilization payments look like a traffic ticket.

CDN dollar just moved below 69 cents. Bank of Canada can't lower rates anymore because our crashing dollar would just get worse as the Fed is holding the line on rates due to a hot economy.
Canada has been mismanaged for so long that we have no ability to defend our economy even if we wanted to, despite what the government says. More spending to shore up industry=an even lower dollar and higher taxes.

If you haven't already, buy US dollars.
                        Buy gold.

I think we need a recount of the 1995 Quebec referendum, liberal appointed special rapporteur’s need not apply.

                            Supply management and the EAST!

Our lumber will get cheaper, way too much supply of other stuff....IF US reduces/stops purchasing.

Tariff meant to HURT US buyers so they stop buying.

The opportunity to load up on US$ was in 2011-2012 when it was par with the CDN$.

Kinda late to the party now.
