I will almost guarantee that Canada won't get to the concessions that Mexico got. Trump Liberty promised that if we retaliate with counter tariffs he will increase the tariffs. So what did we do?

Trudeau will not negotiate or back down. He wants utter turmoil, then he can stay planted on the throne - and maybe a convoy is the way to wake up this country again. Trump wants a true ally, not some petulant child over here pandering to terrorists, illegal immigrants and drug smugglers not to leave out Chinese gangs. Trump wants this mess cleaned up - and we should too.

I’m of the opinion a retaliatory response is warranted. Mexico has a real problem with cartels running roughshod through northern Mexico and not stopping influxes of migrants. Otherwise Trump going after Canada for same reasons is preposterous but he holds the hammer. Funny how he crafted the need for tariffs as a matter of national security. Otherwise house and senate needs to agree on it.
