One positive might be access to US processing and their River barges on the Mississippi and Columbia/ New Orleans and Portland?
Might be a big advantage for beef and pork to have a return to free access to more packers?

Basically might be an improved basis?
    Larry?

same currency would stabilize a lot of things, most equipment is us priced, healthcare does not work well in Canada but is basicly free. No marketing boards would be a plus for me ,airtravel cellphones and host of other things would be cheaper. I am not sure if it is better we like to have freetrade with the US but have all kinds of obstacles in interprovincial trade. The rest of Canada has treated Alberta terrible for years and I don,t see that changing anytime soon.

Nothing about the USA is a Pro to me, here's just one of many Cons that really sticks out.

13 states have banned abortion and proposed bills this year to extend rights to embryos and fetuses, with Alabama's Supreme Court going as far as to ending In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

How long before the remaining 12 follow Alabama's lead?

In other words, F--- those parents that want to have children of their own and want medical science to work on their behalf.

Oh, I guess religion in their politics is right up there as a Con.

Forage, I personally believe that religion and state need to be separate. BUT, a void is created in the absence of religion. Who then holds the moral high ground.

What religion are you reffering to as filling the void of moral high ground , there are many of them in North America?

Children are taught morals by their parent at home and in public when dealing with others, besides there is no current political leader demonstrating moral high ground in any form to it's citizens.

As far as I'm concerned they have successfully eliminate all morals within Canada and the USA.

                    P.S.
As for those suggestiong adopting a child I'm all for that, but why should a coupled have to when medical science gives them the option of IVF?

Let's move backwards and take away all rights to choose.

Forage, how did you manage to turn a wheat marketing thread on the adult forum into a rant about your beliefs regarding abortion?
Wouldn't that be better suited to Chuck's asylum?

Wife is a chiefs fan. Watched most except the halftime show. I hate that kind of music. Rugby is a better game. Like watching my daughter play rugby more than the millionaire football players. Big 7’s championship coming up in Vancouver in a week. Will be some exciting action watching that.
