Friday Cocktail and end of week talk

Good afternoon, had the pleasure of using the USA medical system.

Yes, I have insurance but the cost for today is what got me thinking.

It wasn’t a copay so I will send the bill to my insurance company and get reimbursed.

phoned and booked a time at 10:00 am phoned at 8:25

Bloodwork plus urine tests met DR. diagnosis and medicine at Walgreens

    visit and tests $145.00
    pills $20.00

    so whole visit $165.00

    The Canadian system doesn’t work
    anymore.

Trump is in charge we need to face the fact and adapt and move on.

Trudeau brought this all.on by himself.

Telling the usa population they screwed up voting and should of picked a women.

    Kamila was never the answer.

Premiers need to work out the problems and Quebec not letting pipelines or wont touch dairy and taking billions in transfers isn't working with the others.

Alberta and Sask need to get tough with all provinces to either play with us or Fu k off.

Grain on a up terror. $8.00
    Wheat and $14.50 canola around.

Cold temps for Russia and Ukraine killing winter crops.

Next week usa having real cold temps.

    Cargill not buying peas.

My acreage might change if can't move peas off combine.

Our Farm is expanding a couple thousand acres. Some guys are retiring etc. Some deals have been years in the making.

Please talk to your friends family and neighbours because mental health is serious and the only ones who are cured are the one who is gone the pain lives on forever with the ones still alive.

Wow what a week if I missed anything post.

We were in Vegas two years ago. Wife was having pain so went to a clinic who sent us to a hospital for X-ray and tests. About two hours total time , bill was over 15000. We had insurance ,plus the pills we had to get were 700. Care was good but crazy expensive.

Walk into an emerg room in Regina or stoon and ask how many pay taxes. Most won’t even know what your asking about.

I was shocked how a basic doctor visit was cheap at $145.00.

Grain on fire today all fall prices suck.

Maybe some companies will.quit buying canola and wheat next!

Walking into an ER you’re looking at 5 hours minimum, heartburn and my heart feels really weird and you are immediately rushed into the back.

            yup trumps is in.

Gonna do good things dumb things hurt people help people both US citizens and non citizens. Yup hes a Buffon and stretches the truth.

            Get over it.

If republican policy and doge methods etc prove to be wrong dems will be back there people will vote.

Getting lame and sad, or here's a thought maybe Dems can work with them on stuff for a win win

See doge is taking off in other countries as well some of the crap we do in oz gave not sure what overseas country millions of dollars to form a soccer team would have been useful in hospitals in rural australia.

If Harris had won I DEFINATELY wouldn't be working myself into a lather on a daily basis.

Yes tariffs hurt we've got aluminium one at moment but EVERYONE knew it was part of his election platform

Every day Trump blows off with a new tariff threat that is going to blow up the economy.
Media of all types keeps highlighting it for him.
Sometimes it seems like the reporters questions give him the idea for his next tariff threat.

But what has he actually followed though on at this point?
All I see are the steel and aluminum tariffs and I'm not sure they are actually being charged?
Actual % charged still to be established?
How long can he keep making doomsday proclamations and suck all the oxygen out of the room causing people, politicians, and media to hyperventilate?
Even his base has to be tiring of it?

                Interesting comments.

But the American people voted, we all knew he would win because normal Americans were sick of actors, woke and politicians. Harris was a idiot bigger than Trudeau and Biden.

Doge I like its time to clean up waste.

Term limits in gov is also needed.

People need to get back to work.

In Alberta Cargill’s crush plant in Camrose is now strictly “Power Canola”. This canola is crushed for use in airplane fuel I believe. Still amazes me that oil for fuel requires more regulations and is more valuable than oil for use is food. I won’t sign up for this program as they want all your land locations on which the canola is grown. As the regulations related to power canola are European inspired brushing and wetland draining are I believe taboo. Just not interested for 20 cents a bushel premium.

How would they know what you do on your property anyway, sounds like just an empty signature. No wetlands here, but I consider brushing to fall under normal ‘property maintenance’.

So far the Power Canola program a marketing pitch only. An artificially wide basis on "non" Power. Power basis really their everyday basis IMO.
They're only set up to refine seedstock as yet. It has to go elsewhere to finish. Isn't enough canola grown in the world to fly politicians to Davos twice anyway.
Cargill is a very sophisticated marketer with it's myriad of grower programs.
I have never turned down a penny because of a piece of meaningless paper. We've essentially been signing shit tickets for 20+ years for one bs certification or another anyway.
                      Nothing new here.

Truckers who deliver to the dog food plant in Innisfail tell me that the tests the grain has to go through are far more thorough than any grain going into the human food chain.
