Good morning I was up early and went to Disney yesterday and then had a computer problem and still have family here.

We have a cold Canadian air mass hitting with temps today in the low 60s it's cold.

Grain prices ended down a little bit but still moved in the right direction for the week.

Fall prices suck. That's all I have they suck.

No peas can't be delivered locally because Cargill quit buying.

Will malt barley suck if most go south and will have a tariff?

Egg smuggling is a thing, and bird flu is spreading in the USA. Bird flu has moved to rats, so look out, Toronto; you might be in trouble.

Ruby got kicked out of the liberal leadership race so looks like it's rigged to put in useless Carney.

If you think he is the answer you need to go get help now and fast.

I hear it's warming up in Canada.

Way to go Canada in the hockey tournament.

Spring is going to be busy at our farm with the extra land. Might be more before we're done. My boys both might come home. Transition is ongoing from one generation to another.

Blue Sour Candy Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

- 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Blue Curaçao
?- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- Lemon-lime soda (to top)
- Sour Candy (for garnish)


Instructions:

1. **Shake It Up**: In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, blue curaçao, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled.

Something like that will probably take until fall to be noticeable.

It is tough to find warm weather in the winter that is as convenient as southern USA.

But if Trump keeps up the chaos there will be an impact.

There are lots of western Canadians or prairie people that want to become Americans anyway so doubt anything will change that way maybe even increase Canadians going south.

If/when we start getting pressure from the north, watch our love for America grow. I think Trump is looking to the future. So far lots of Canadians down here. I golf in a can/am golf tournament on Monday. It will put Americans against Canadians,18 holes. I hope we win.

Home prices are slipping in states like Toronto.

But the reason is Blackrock purchased 169000 homes in Florida and rented these vrbo etc. But because of insurance and other costs, they don't make their money anymore. So liquidating. They are getting out.

For example 425000 on home they paid now 320,000.

Will land in Saskatchewan have the same fate?

Interesting re house prices.
Business model I invested in favored SoCal far over FL. Prices went up and are holding.
Having said that. Rentals long term never exceed 9%, the rest is appreciation if you're lucky.
Managing the props can be the profitable side. I'm getting out this year.

Tell me, how is it that a PM who has resigned, and has prorogued parliament, is still able to make multi-billion dollar decisions with our tax dollars with no parliamentary debate or scrutiny. Within the last week we have seen hundreds of millions announced on overseas pet projects and now a $4B announcement on a high speed rail to serve Toronto and Montreal. Project cost to be $40B in total.

if parliament is prorogued then the government should be in mothballs, not making these financial commitments for LPC pet projects.

Any place BlackRock bought homes, they are exiting. Our one condo that was involved in southern cal has dropped, but it is close to an army base, so it's not bad.
