This is way above my pay grade but was that war lost?
Wasnt Ukraine given technology and hardware to fend off the Russian attack? How much hardware was used to actually counter attack Russia? Ukraine's effort seemed more defensive that offensive. It's easier to push your(USA) weight around against smaller countries, but how hard do you want to push a "super power"(?)? Even if the push(defense and offense-{esp.}) is through another country?

I find it hard to believe the US would become overly dependant on non-allie countries for what(ever) they need to protect and defend themselves.

That is exactly what happened.

They never gave Ukraine any real equipment to go on a real offensive.
They didn't want Russia to be able to learn how to defend against the best most expensive stuff.
Just dribbled old retired stuff in enough to hold up the lines.
Never did send the F16's they really wanted.
Lots of artillery but not enough ammo.
Russia got lots of old Soviet ammo from North Korea and Iran. Maybe China round about.

That's why Trump thinks he has to break up that group and get Russia out of that association.
The longer the war goes the tighter it gets

When you talk about Regan. I think of Genesis' song and video "Land of Confusion".
That song is as relevent today as it was in 1986. Nearly 40 years later and not much has changed. Although Trump adds a whole new dimension and level.

Canada reps about 1% of Jack Daniel"s sales so I don't think it will brake them. As for U.S.A. bullet production pretty sure they produce a lot of there own for big guns or small. Isn't that Donalds plan make NATO buy the bullets from them instead of shooting them out of there guns for free?
