Odd how they laid a railway track across Canada to unite and bind us together but somehow a pipeline is an unthinkable option.

In the Liberal leadership "race" speeches, old Chretien brought up a pipeline running from Alberta to QUEBEC, seems he intentionally made eye contact or looked in a certain direction as he said it. To me, parts of his speech were more collaberative than confrontational for both across provincial borders and between USA and Canada. Although he was absolutely steadfast on Canadian autonomy and sovereignty. Just my opinion.

If Carney managed to get in to hold liberal power , Western Canada has zero choice left but to separate. Carney will decimate western Canada to a point where we will all be on UBI and organic farms
i d not think very few people understand the consequences of this at the moment

Quite the opposite. Another anti business anti west Liberal government will speed up the process of separation.
If the Conservatives get in, we will waste 4 more years vainly believing something will change for the better.

I'm cheering for Carney. To get this over with as soon as possible.

Please don't confuse my preference for one party"s policies, for "fondness" for the abhorent person stating the policies.

Why not stay in the Confederation and play Quebec's game?
They seemed to learn how to hold the rest of Canada ransom for their own benefit. Sask and Alta combined population is a bit over 6 million people, add Manitoba and it's about 7.5 million. Quebec has a bit over 9 million.

I'd say it's about time Western Canadian provinces got treated as equals.

Or a tax revolt. Nah, we're too complacent.

Sorry this all falls squarely on the shoulders of Signh in Canada , 100% for keeping the liberals in power too long .
if you had any brains it’s clear as day .
Liberals gone 6 months ago , none of this would hardly be an issue today

Unfortunately you could see this coming from a mile away, Bidens democrats and Trudeau’s liberals went way , way too far left
you could see the pendulum swinging big time in the U.S. , the whole green energy , DEI , CRT , transgender thing was the tipping point in the US . They pushed everything way too far
Now they went way the other way with Trump , you could see it coming a mile away
