Anxious for Spring

GM Agriville Friends. The political propaganda machine is getting really tiring so I started the day with you-tubes about keeping air in Kubota and zero-turn tires. Do my Agriville friends have any tricks?

Are they leaking around the bead, or through porous cracked tires?

I buy slime by the gallon jug and convert every leaking tire to tubeless with slime.
Works on everything except bead leaks, really big holes and some sidewall leaks.

Low tires are a symptom of cold/freezing weather too. I think worse when they're moth-balled for the winter. Do they maintain pressure over summer months? Check the schrader valve for leaks too, sometimes tightening it slightly can stop it from leaking if it's losing air between it and the valve stem, if the inner seal is gone it needs replacing.

Soapy water is your friend when trying to find the source of the leak. Find out where it's leaking, then make a plan.

I buy PSF Plus in 6 gal pails.
No experience yet with small tires.
Have sealed punctures in old truck tires. Separating trailer tire to finish job. Small cracks in rim on tractor to finish season. Beads on new tractor tire install.
Saved my butt and eliminates tubes.
Pro tire guys love it, it makes bead removal easy.
Caveat. It's messy when you remove tire. It prevents future tube or patch installation unless tire well cleaned.
Truck tires etc usually replaced once off rim anyways. It has leak size limitations. Won't make a tire new again. Water based I believe.
Good for coughs, colds, sore arseholes and makes childbirth a pleasure.

I tube all those oddball tires (Kubota, auger mover tires, even air cart has a tube in one tire) and has worked out well for me. Fountain Tire has always had the right size tube and gets me going fast and cheaply.

Its the bead all right. Brand new Grasshopper had same issue, the dealer just swapped out with whole new wheel and tire but older Kubotas have issues too. Every time you go to use them, the tires need air, usually flat. Back tires can be fixed with Michelin airless tires, probably best because the tires had ballast in them, I think they are hooped. I think everyone suffers from this problem because many you-tubes on the topic but they all recommend Goop or other sealant.
