We're not a serious country. We should have built railroad infrastructure 30 years ago. We didn't. We're totally dependant on the US. They transport our potash to tidewater. They buy our grain and cattle. We should have built more refineries but we didn't. Forget about Keystone, we should have built domestic pipelines. But we didn't so we depend on the Americans to refine our oil. They protect us because our military is a joke. I don't want to be the 51st state but Donald is absolutely right - we might as well make it official and we'd all be better off.

Unfortunately Don is absolutely right. We’d be way better off as part of the American economy. Our political system is a complete joke. If our vote mattered out here like a vote in a less populated state in the US I’d feel different. When we have Senators appointed like Charles f u c k I n Adler who was a god damn disc jockey can determine policy in our country u have to understand we are an absolute joke.
We couldn’t defend ourselves if it came right down to it so what is the point of fighting the inevitable. It pisses me off that we have to pay so much more for US products with our Monopoly money and there’s no way to offset the cost. Things like that are just a few of the reasons it wouldn’t bother me one bit to have a US passport.

That’s a good video. I’m out of canola. Do these canola tariffs directly affect you right now? Me No. Are the big players going to try and fleece farmers? Yes. Is canola demand going to go away long term? No. Maybe some low prices and chaos before seeding to lower some canola seeded acres just might benefit my farm come fall. I’m always leary of high prices going into seeding. Unless there is so sort of disaster prices go down for fall. Seems everyone is tryn to price out a farmers profit margin.

          "our military is a joke"

Embarrasing... NY city has MORE cops than we have military

All true but economics say NONE of the infrastructure pays?

Cheaper to send S, to China, Mexico, India so that's what happens.
