    Make Saskatchewan the 51st State

Trump wants to deal, let's deal! He can have Saskatchewan for $1 Trillion.
Trump....send us a $1million cheque to every Sask man woman and child along with a new passport and we can get the show on the road.

We will send a bag with our Canadian dollars, SIN Card and Passport COD to Ottawa, along with a thank-you note expressing our gratitude for the last 120 years, but we are moving on.

Imagine having all our assets valued in the World Currency, no more exchange rate concerns.

Imagine having a government that sends support money to farmers the minute there is an issue in World trade.

Imagine the access to new capital markets and cash to build new projects and get things done and grow our farms and business. New investment opportunities.

Imagine just one language to put on our labels.

Imagine lower taxation and lower costs.

Imagine keeping our hunting rifles out of the hands of the Government and having a handgun in the glove compartment of our pickups.

Yes the Republic form of Government in Sask looks very appealing to the continual *ss kissing we do to Ontario and Quebec.

" oh geez I slept in this Saturday morning, wow what a dream I just had...let's see what's on TV...oh wow!../Carbon Marx Carnage is leading in the polls!....I'm going back to sleep"

    Oh Canada!

Whose taxpayers dollars paid for the railway to populate and make Sask a province in the first place.?

I agree with you (????), Saskatchewan tax payers, our wheat and resources flow east at below whole prices, and we pay the transfer payments on top of that.

      that’s a argument you can’t win.

That railroad was only built to keep American interests out. So that Eastern Canada could extract the resources themselves. There was nothing benevolent about it.
We would be as prosperous as Alaska if not for that railroad.
        Pure colonialism.
If we owe Eastern Canada a debt of gratitude for building the railroad. Then every African nation owes their colonists for the infrastructure they built to exploit them.

This next election will be the bell weather to what will become of Canada. If the east elects the next government before the west has any say that will be the death nell of
Canada. I will go from a mildly interested political junkie to full bore western separation...not necessarily the 51st state but more of a sovereignty association that quebec has been advocating for since confederation.
Have a referendum with a clear question and a clear mandate then start negotiation with the rest of canada to keep us in.
this is the only way going forward. Even if the conservatives win the senate is so packed with liberals that any legislation will take years to pass.

That was definitely a slip up on your part. Loyalist spy.

I still don't see the premiers growing a pair.

This has to be grassroots from the bottom up.

Over a third of the population NDP.
Regarding Ottawa, over half our population here aren't blinking an eye.

There has never been a time where the door has been so open for Saskatchewan to walk through and to get a better deal.
You sell when there is buyers, not when you are in trouble.
We have an interested buyer and we are in trouble. Time to move and not get caught looking at our navels.
I agree about the election. The Liberal hired man was fired, now the real guys, management is running things. We got 10 years of men in dresses, gay parades, legalized pot and zero economic value. ZERO! We will continue to get punished if the same old retreads get in.
If it happens, I suggest symbolic torches and pitchforks and leadership that can get a better deal. I have been passive about politics but the West just needs a new direction.
