    Curious are there any new oat varieties a person should be trying? Have been growing Camden for the past 6 years just thinking of trying something new.

    Anson oats specs looks good on paper, putting in some this year.

      Gree some registered ANSON oats for a seed grower last yr.

      I predict they take over oat acre majority in 3 yrs.
      A foot shorter than camden and stood gay ***** straight.

        Grew Camden for the last 6 years or more but never was impressed as it is a bit prone to lodging and yield has been average at best. Grew Morgan before that and yields were always good and it stood much better but millers were backing away from this variety and reluctantly quit growing it. Keeping my fingers crossed I’m making the right choice with Anson. Thanks for the info golalie.
