    Oats

Been reading that Can-Oat Milling has completed the expansion in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, and will mill 380,000 tonnes per year.

    They have three different places.

Is this a good snapshot of what can happen on the Prairies, or not?

Parsnip..guess we`ll have to get Ritter and Co. back selling these little guys...funny they`ve never broadcast their past success with this market. Is this Cuthbert only a one trick pony???Why doesn`t he parade this stuff??Are we going to have to wait for April fool`s day to bring this out ourselves??Maybe Gray and Partners can command a hefty fee for a study??

this is a good snapshot of what can happen on the prairies when we grow something that our american friends want. I am not sure wheat flour mills will flourish across the prairies, because wheat is easily export offshore easier then flour. I think this is something we may look to happening in the future with food grade barley as well, this would happen with continuing decrease of the american barley acres.
