    CWB & "Harvesting Opportunities"

    Charlie and Lee;

    How could we as taxpayers honestly support the CWB's "Harvesting Opportunites" when logic and Chairman Ritters own statement:

    "We came to the conclusion that without a complete set of physical assets and a bunch of capital, the CWB could not market barley," Ritter said from his farm near Kindersley, Sask.

    "It would be like having two Ford garages in town, both selling the same product, and telling one to make a deal with the other Ford garage to get some display room for their vehicles on their floor - that's the business position we're in," said Ritter.

    Wake up Ritter... in many cites there are 2 Ford dealerships... and to be most successful... they do work together.

    It is obvious Chairman RItter and the 7 Dwarves are guilty of the believing prosperity is acheived by taking some one elses property to become wealthy... rather than working and earning wealth for ourselves!

    The CWB said in "harvesting opportunities" they could market/handle Canola and other grains, inputs... voluntarily... and add value/reduce costs for growers.

    Now they say... "Why Bother"?

    Chairman Ritter and the seven Dwarves should be booted out of the front door of 423 Main... and be required to find real jobs that require them to "earn" a days wages... for a days worth of work.

    Oh... sorry... that is what a CWB that worked to earn our business... would be... without the "single desk"... and what it did before Goddale destroyed it in 1993!

    As it is now... Chairman Ritter and the 7 Dwarves are destroying any retained value western Canadian growers/CDN taxpayers have gained through the taking of our: blood, sweat, and tears... over the last 70 years!

    So what about the towns that have say a Cargill and a Paterson in them or an Agricore and a JRI. A John Deere dealership and a New Holland one. A Petro Canada, an ESSO, a Shell, and a Co-op gas bar. A Tim Horton's and a Robins. Etc, etc, etc.

    Do these guys have special wheat board drivers that drive them around the countryside so they can wear bags over their heads so as not to see the real world?
