Chairman Ritter and the 7 Dwarves... ITS TIME TO RESIGN

    CHarlie,

    I listened to;

    http://www.newswire.ca/en/webcast/viewEvent.cgi?eventID=1788600

Ritter/Hill admitted the results are real and accurate...& that the CWB DIrectors are not at all surprised.

It is clear to me, the growers in the CWB"designated area" and Minister have spoken:

1.) barley growers need the opportunity to market in a voluntary system... like we do with dry beans in Alberta, Hogs through the Western Hog Exchange, like Orange growers do with Sunkist... and globally how grower co-operatives supply much of our Ag produce.

THe CWB has an obligation extract value and market barley for western Canadian barley growers... in a professional, business like manner.

If ANY CWB Directors are against doing this... AGAINST DOING WHAT BARLEY GROWERS ELECTED THEM TO DO... (market barley in a voluntary system)

THESE CWB DIRECTORS HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO RESIGN IMMEDIATELY.

2.) IN THIS INTERVIEW; Chairman Ritter and Dwarf #1... Hill; clearly are in rebelion against the will of barley growers and the CWB Minister...

By saying they cannot live by the August 1 2007 implementation date and saying it is not possible.

Ritter and the 7 Dwarves have an obligation to resign, if they will not aplogise and agree to the implementation of a voluntary barley market in the "designated area" AUG. 1/07.

Lets have an election and get CWB Directors who truly will maximise grain growers returns... FOR "DESIGNATED AREA" FAMILIES SAKE.... AT THE FARM GATE!

I just listened to Ken Ritters press conference. It's amazing that after 62% of the voting farmers have partially or totally opted out of the CWB, that Ritter will not admit defeat, but rather fight with Minister Strahl to maintain this useless organization as long as possible. Ritter, go back to Kindersley and plan for spring planting. The peasants have spoken.

How can Minister Strahl tolerate these insubordinates? I'm sure he'd have no problem replacing Ritter and his monkeys with real farmers not union fruitcakes.

How can we best send a message to these dissidents who will not take an order?

          1. On-line petition?
          2. Class-action law suit?
          3. Rally?
          4. Let them serve the CWB selling flour testing the market one year in Mongolia?

          5. Fire them

T4 ,you had your chance to be elected and you blew it! You don't have any business asking for anyone's resignation. You are the only character living in Disneyland.

Finally listened to Ritters press conference. It is time for our government to get rid of the whole CWB. I agree with Parsley we have to send a message to the CWB that the majority have spoken!

                Agstar77,

Now isn't this an interesting turn of events!

Agstar77... the "Single Desk" on barley was lost... as fairly as CWB Directors were elected to govern the CWB.

The barley growers in western Canada have spoken... and are expecting you to listen.

Could any one of them not have heard the CWB's lame excuse on barley marketing? Very unlikely.

Your CWB logic is REJECTED... as being as incredible as it is unbelievable.

If you can't stand the heat... get out of the kitchen!

Do your job. Market our grain... not the "single desk". It is ours... not yours.

It is about time you got to work... and earned the most possible for our grain & families... at our farm gates.

RESIGN if you aren't up to the challenge... and let someone else try who cares... about our farm communities and farm families.

                    hee haw, hee haw
The group of seven are scared. With all the corruption both public and privately at the cwb, any new directors first role would be to perform an internal audit.
This could show some very intresting things......
Irag grain sales to whom and at what price.

Payments to Larry Hills brother in Law Stewart wells.

Ties to the liberal party such as Avis Gray and her husband who works for Anita Neville (Winnipeg Liberal MP)

Question >>>>Why is the CWB the only company to ship out of thunder bay via the small lakers (Owned by Canadian steamship lines) when all the flax, Peas and Canola are loaded onto ocean going vessels right at thunder bay avoiding paying for all the handle and double handle.

Question>>>>If the board is controlled by farmers why aren't the minutes from the board meetings made public?

You see...the group of seven are in charge of this, and they don't want to stay at the crowbar hotel
