Here in the south west of Assiniboia seeding 75% done. Excellent moisture conditions. Gophers big problem. Pulses and oilseeds emerging and cereals just finishing up. On our 45 quarters 1000 acres left. Much better start to the growing season than last year as it was to dry early on and all summer thereafter.

8-10 inches of snow south of Red Deer, 15 % done seeding so far, area average no more than 40 % , every time it gets close enought to be dry it rains or as in today snows, wheat acres and canola acres will deffinately be down in this area.

6" on top of saturated fields north of Red Deer, ranges from 90% down to 0%. Huge barley being cleaned to replace wheat and canola acres. (but it might be hard to even get barley in time)
I would guess 60% done maximum overall?

Finished today.Located south of Saskatoon.Early seeded crops are emerging nicely along with the weeds.
