To the end user , unit trains should not really translate into cheaper grain because the grain no matter what came from a farm and was hauled to some point by Single axles, tandems, up to super B's.
I had several brokers all year asking about my number 1 HRSW untill oops it was gone. If corn from the USA is cheaper than local wheat then that is what they should be able to buy. But hard to believe that it is cheaper, must be more to do with supply and availlability. hey Americans , how about buying some of that ethanol which must happen also.
