I phoned last week for my folks and finally got a person on the line they appologized for the delay but said as soon as it arrives mail your shares in. He then informed me they just sent that package out late friday the 18 of the long weekend. Basically it didnt leave regina till tuesday the 22.

You can download the forms off the Agricore website or use the forms from the previous Sask pool offer. When I phoned the 1-800 number they told me they changed the deadline to postmarked by the 28th.

Does anyone know what happens if shareholders don't tender their shares?

Or what happens if shareholders miss the deadline?

I went to my local AU office in town and the girls down loaded the forms, printed , and helped me fill them out correctly. They showed me where to sign, etc. This way, I did not have to worry about errors. They attached my certificate to the papers and then I mailed them by registered mail. All done. My package is still not in. There was a steady flow of farmers doing the same. Great service and hopefully it will continue with the new takeover.

"The Pool has also extended the Offers to enable those shareholders that have not yet tendered to deposit their securities to the Offers. The Offers, as extended, will now expire at 5:00 p.m. (Toronto time) on June 12, 2007. Shareholders may contact Kingsdale Shareholder Services at 1-866-301-3454 for assistance."

SWP.com has a full news release.

Finally received my info packages today. Will maybe send them back tomorrow???? Amazing that they would put such a short time on them if they were really serious and truly wanted grain producer input.Makes me think they donot really care about the grass roots of their operation.

I was at our local AU Sales elevator (doesn't buy grain, just sells ag stuff) the other day, they had a sign on the wall that said May 28th was the deadline for tendering AU shares. The staff would NOT assist anyone in any way regarding the filling out or mailing of the tendered shares. Further to this I was forced to wait 40 minutes in the office while the manager yakked on the phone, to a farmer, relative to contracts, grain prices, and how much money the guy was making. The only way I got served was that I threatened to leave and buy fertilizer in another nearby town. The steno was either to stupid or didn't give a sh-t about customers, busy eating candy and doing her nails. I AM VERY GLAD TO SEE THE END OF AGRICORE UNITED, it was a crap company Agricore and UGG were both garbage as well riddance to bad rubbish! Go Sask Pool go!!

Our UGG ellevator was one of the top performing UGG ellevators. The year before this last year they dried grain 24/7 for the entire year, trucks lined up for half a mile, While the SWP elevator took in little grain. This spring because of their 100 car spot they had trucks lined up usually for half a mile while the SWP ellevator could not get any cars. SWP bought that ellevator and sold it to JRI, JRI should be happy with that deal.
So what does happen to my 100 dollars worth of AU shares if I do nothing with them?
