Organizing a big drunken...oops I mean big celebration...party are we?

    Sorry, too far to drive.

Perhaps the celebration may be a bit premature, as court cases are still pending.

Oh well, have your little party, you probably have nothing else better to do right now anyway.

Hey sounds like a great plan!!! too bad wilagro doesn't think so but heck he and burburt can continue to collect pop and beer cans for the "born to fail" friends of the CWB. It is dissapointing that provincial governments and fringe groups plan to waste their money and the CWB plans to waste farmers money on a lost cause. No court will side with them not with the last results of the CWB poll now public.

For what now? the 10th time? even the CWB's poll shows barley farmers want choice. Personally I voted for the choice option, I believe the CWB can add value and be a marketing choice. Mr. Ritter even says most farmers want a strong CWB. Yet something is still missing. Where's the plan? the CWB has known for more than 10 years now barley farmers want choice and the CWB to play a role. But once again I ask where is the plan??
Unfortunately there is none, they have failed barley producers in the malt market and don't even try in the feed barley market.
Democracy prevails here and I'm damn glad I live in a country where the democratic wishes of barley producers have been heard and are being respected.
I wish the group well at the celebration, and to a new future for barley!!!
      now wheres my beer!!

I spoke with a CWB supporter today and he was very disappointed that the CWB is expending time and energy and cash fighting the barley issue.

He felt that it is a done deal, and that many farmers are counting on higher prices with an open market and the CWB's attempt to thwart the process will only realize resentment aginst the CWB, even by many of its' supporters.

He also said that Barley Freedom Day should be celebrated. Choice supporters had worked hard and earned a celebration.

The invitation reads as follows, Benny Hinn:

                "Warmly Invite
                Marketing Choice Supporters
To the Celebration of a New Era"

And u are a Wheat Board glove, so you won't be there.

It's going to be a dandy party.
