    2007 Growing Season?

Well the 2007 growing season is turning into basically same as the last 20 or 30. Mother nature rules the day. It just amazes me how some farmers say BS like I usually have a good crop without any weather problems. They are living in denial.
Hell this year started out nice seeded fence line to fence line, May long came and went with only 1/2 inch then June hit, HA HA HA
So far this month their have been 5 nights that temps got below 0. Young canola got a sh-- kicking. Then the sky opened with Rain and Hail, Hail so bad stripped the leaves off the trees, with cool temps and flooding now happening this crop is a long way from the bin.
Kansas farmers thought they were going to have a bin buster then frost hit, Hm didn't that happen in Canada in 02, 04.
Mother nature does more damage on our farm and costs us more money than any drop in Commodity prices. Yes their is Insurance $65,000 spent last year. Sask Crop insurance is a JOKE and CASIP etc is no better.
I am glad some do have an excellent crop but till its sold its not a done deal and then if the company doesn't pay you, its done.
With a little bit of luck well get an average crop.
