      cp,you say,
"EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion"

      I agree.

But opinion is different from making up facts. Lying.

        What are "arguements"?

        I prefer -arguments- myself.

Do others think that this is happening on Agri-ville? re: CWB
do we have posters who are trying to scare off people by just being complete tools themselves.
I believe that this forum is a very valuable tool to help make Canadian Ag policy better for all and hope that the trolls get back under their bridge or at least get better arguments than be AFRAID!

          Baiting from wikipedia
On Internet forums, baiting is sometimes used in attempts to empty forums or reduce a forum's usage. This type of baiting is usually done to make the atmosphere of a forum appear unpleasant or to make forum owners, moderators and long-time users look foolish. A person using this kind of baiting may post comments to elicit rude responses from prominent members of a forum, thus making the responding member or members appear as trolls or flamers to bystanders. As a result, forum users in general may become disgusted and leave the forum

            just-wondering,

I have had these same thoughts about "baiting" and the discription well fits the feelings I felt!

We are quite a crew of independant thinking bold souls... who are afraid of few things!

Words that are hollow and crack pot ideas just make me more determined to expose the true intent of authors who us such tactics!

Some days it is quite entertaining... but the use of foul language does really decrease the quality of our discussions!

Joe, we appreciate your patience with us and hope you can laugh at our tactics when they are immature and less than entertaining!

Hopefully we can all learn from our "mistakes"... and till the edit button works... we can't take our words back! But that should make us better people... because it is like real life... words spoken in haste can't be taken back!

For example, if you look at the IP addresses for: chaffmeister, wedino, fransico, incognito, and at least two others, this is all the same person.

You are so wrong, Benny. Any one that knows me, will know who I am from my handle. Ask your buddy, Vader, he knows me, I went with Vader on border runs.

Most farmers are simple people, hence it is easy to bait, insult and use them. Common sense is considered an asset on the farm. The vast majority of the stuff written on this and other ag/bus websites on the net is garbage and should be treated as such, entertainment. Gov'ts are constantly floating ballons, to see what reaction they'll get from the people. Will I get re-elected and keep this soft job is all that counts in the long run. Greed and corruption prevail in our country/industry. Me myself and I are the only important ones that matter! Lets face it, farming is a poor way to make a living, but better than being a bum most of the time........ Sorry, to all those thin skin individuals that I have hurt, or upset by challenging their insights into the modern, dog eat dog world of ag on angiville.

Burbert I would challenge your first statement. Making an assumption that most farmers are simple and to follow up with simple means common sense does not make sense to me.

If common sense is so simple why do more people not use it.

I would also challenge the statement
"farming is a poor way to make a living". For me farming is the greatest way to make a living. I love it in my simple way I make a living at it.

Garbage is written on here sure to say the "vast majority", is a little harsh.

"Challenging their insights into the modern, dog eat dog world of ag on angiville". That's awesome start actually challenging.

Agstar, cute play on words but not entirely accurate.

I would say more like frustated-ville.

Frustrated because when challenged, the defenders of the cwb have never offered anything that actually could stand up to scrutiny. The case for premiums can't be made, in fact the opposite appears to be true when examined closely, yet it is still precieved by many as having value when no evidence actually exists.

                        Burbert,

The simplest form of common sense is: We reap what we sow.

You WILL find what you look for... !

Long term relationships built on honest reliable people who stand for truth and integrety... who respect those folks who value these same attributes... can be built for those willing to pay the price and take the time!
