What happens if by the time the price drops to acceptable levels its too late to apply. Either store or hope that in the spring the backed up demand can be supplied without shortages/rationing (real or just a marketing ploy, if the fert industry has an excuse to jack the price back up they will).
How do the grain baggers work with dry fert?
PS I am sure this is the CWB's fault somehow so as always...

BMG little frustrated how slow these so called big wigs are slow to drop prices yet when its going good they screw us at every opportunity. When its our turn they take forever. Yea don't believe in it just using it as an example. But the more I am looking at next spring I am leaning to just seeding and going for below in 09 is starting to look good. If its a crop failure I win big, if its a bumper I loose. It seems when we lock the bins and don't buy prices come down, when were at their mercy they screw us good, if all of us got together all over the world and said you know enough is enough go starve, things would change or WW3 would happen.
