    Realistically

What are the chances of us getting out from under the cwb now that they found enough non-farming farmers to vote the likes of flaman in again. It is very discouraging,in my area we are very suited to grow durum and i prefer to have it in my rotation but. However this year proves to me again that unfortunately i nead to be able to get paid for all of my crop so i can cashflow my farm. This means that if i could get paid for all of my grain i would have enough money to pay my bills and that is the botton line for me and the cwb is screwing me again!

It is very sad to hear these stories from farmers when the chips are down and I have been there that the CWB will just step on top and roll right over you. Hope things work out for you.

Them bastards if they would only give fixed prices at what the grain is getting sold for would really help about now.

#1 Dark Northern Spring 14% portland
        9.90 Canadian per bushel.

SWS #1 portland 6.37 per bushel

        CWB Vancouver fixed prices.

#1 HRSW 14 % fixed price vancouver 7.38 per bushel. According to last basis and adjustment factor.

#1 SWSW Vancouver 5.43 per bushel according to last basis and adjustment factor.
        These are export pricing.
This is what we are all missing. Or is the difference being added to the pool price?

I guess i keep growing durum because i was sure with the strong support Harper got from the west that he would find a way to do what he said he would do,but I'm not so sure anymore.

              Fedup,

              'Realistically',

PM Harper... and Minister Ritz... can only proceed on issues that the Bloc... or Liberals... will directly say benefit them.

The CWB is not one of these issues... clearly.

Until PM Harper gets a majority... don't expect any revolutionary changes in the CWB.

Send a letter to Iggy... ask him what you should do!

Same for Duceppe... send him a letter as well!

It cannot hurt to communicate your frustration.

              CC the PM.

I sent a letter to Ritz stating my concerns and he didn't reply.

Ya I think I will send those guys a letter it won't do any good but maybe it will make me feel better, no it won't make me feel any better what will and only will make it better is if i can get paid for my yes I said my grain!
I know this argument has been done to death, but as far as I'm concerned the argument ends with the fact that I paid to grow that crop, its mine! I should be able to sell it to who ever I want. then I would use that money to pay my bills, see it's not that hard just get the cwb out of the way.

We should be approaching the Liberals on this.Iggy talks alot about the potential of the mind,of the entrepreneur.I think they will be shifting to the right in order to A.win something, anything in the west and B.try and raise some money.
All we really need from the government is a FREE VOTE in the house of commons. There is at least a dozen Liberals who despise Wayne Easter, and another dozen who could agree it is really not appropriate for them to be even voting on such a regional issue.
Dion was a leftist. If Iggy would just leave the bloody Whip out of it---we would get some real 21st century reform like the rest of the world.

                      winwin,

We should approach Iggy... and see if we put a campaign together... to pay off Liberal leadership debts... If he would work with us to solve this CWB problem!

Did I actually just type this?

                      Desperate times require desperate measures?

                      Maybe I am going crazy!
