    End of season fert prices?

Viagra offered $480/tn for 46 yesterday for imediate delivery , offer good until friday only! Man are these guys getting desperate. S/F have fert prices in your area not fallen to this level?
Manager at Vitera said a price change will happen again on monday. As well 21-0-0-24 is at $280/tn. A few spreaders are starting to roll in the area.
We have a one pass liquid seeding system and do not need to buy at this time. We have some storage 24,000 gal but are in no hurry to fill yet as liquid N is now a .15/lb prem over 46. May spread 40-0-0-20(actual), then just buy liquid in Jan/Mar for seed place with the alpine. What are others thinking?

We use liquid 28 0 0 as well. Viterra price on 28 a few days ago was $365/tonne. That was for immediate delivery as well.
A few weeks ago their price was $525/tonne.
$365 still works out to .59cents/lb, 10-15cents more then dry. Liquid is always more but 10-15 cent spread seems a bit much right now.
I was given the line that 365 is the probably as low as it will go.....lol
I guess we'll see about that.

Redbaron can I email it to you? I'd prefer not to be the one that lets the cat out of the bag and starts a war around here.LOL.The price at another dealer in the same town was $350,just dropped from $390.He was not real happy when I told him what I could buy it for.The dealer at $295 isn't full of high priced stuff that he's trying to blend off like the others are.His price is also going to rise $35/t Jan 1.

Most farming is based on BS. That is why Angribusiness, is able to take advantage of us, each and every time. Email me, I'll let you in on other secrets, that the neighbours don't know of. Cheap fertilizer, cheap spray, cheap fuel, I got access to lots and lots of it, cause I'm a good guy, great farmer and always get SPECIAL deals! Bulk bags, giant containers rule, B Train loads, haul it yourself anything you want, tax savings, cause I'm SPECIAL. Sorry can't tell you where I'm at, don't want to cause a stampede just before Xmas... LOL

Hey Burbet good thing we have the CWB so we cannot get a real up front price. Have to wait 1.5 years to get paid less than our neighbors to the south. O yeh we are trying to save a thousand sucky high paying jobs at the secretive CWB. You don't hear about them laying off people in hard times........

Burbot, we bought thurs afternoon - why because we could - did not have to. Will that be the lowest price? - Who cares - it made sense to our farm thats it, $440/tn(46). Do I CARE IF SOMEONE ELSE BUYS AT $350/TN - No! But AT LEAST WE HAD A Choice. The only B.S. is in your mind, you just have to sit outside the box and sort it out youself. Much like the B.S. you beleive from the borg - let it go and think for yourself! What makes sense to your operation at this point in time. This point will make sense to all who are not doing what they are told - ie.all for one, but for free thinking producers.
As for all who thought they were going to recieve big payments from the borg, you may well be bankprupt by summer!
