    New Years Resolutions

Get rid of the bloody Wheat Board. No accomodating duality. I don't care if single-deskers haven't got an option. They didn't care if I had one. I want the Board done like dinner. Pars

    Easier said than done.

I do wonder what the next round of permit book surveys will say. I suspect with this years director election results more and more farmers are going to be moving from the 'voluntary' camp into the 'just nuke them already' camp.

      Parsley,

I heard some interesting pieces on compensation for managers... that was very telling about performance at the CWB.

The variable pay scheme... is designed by managers... to grade themselves against others in 'industry'... not on actual effective management of our assets.

For the CWB to dump the Daily Price Contract... then pay less for cash gain than a 100% EPO... shows the world these managers are a total failure.

Then they pay themselves a 30% Bonus for stealing us blind and bungling risk management as never before?

We must all end this foolish 'single desk' that cheats growers and rewards CWB Agents/managers.

I am going to try to be nicer and hear others opinions before I speak. I will listen to the CWB supporters side 1st. I will read up more on why people in Western Canada Vote NDP or Liberal. I will try to understand why Eastern Canadians are deserving of Billions of Dollars from Western Canada.
I will Go out and help my suppliers through this tough times and buy expensive Fertilizer, Chemical, Seed with out batting an eye.
I will quit reading about what others pay for their products, get for their products and take what our guys give us.
I will be nicer to Bubert, and all the others special people on here.

            "Environment
A Conservative Government will make Britain greener by tackling climate change and enhancing our environment.

We believe quality of life and environmental issues must be at the heart of politics – which is why we campaigned for a UK Climate Change Bill and why we are calling for a post-Kyoto international agreement.

And it’s why we have pledged to improve Britain’s environment by working towards zero waste, providing incentives to recycle, improving urban green spaces and reversing the decline in our biodiversity.

We will make the development of renewable and low carbon energy sources a priority, with measures including the introduction of feed-in tariffs to encourage every hospital, school and home in the country to generate their own electricity.

Far from costing money, our green policies will actually strengthen Britain’s economy. Families and businesses are being hit hard by the rising cost of energy, and our plans will drive down demand and make way for a massive expansion of low carbon and renewable resources.

Climate change adaptation must go hand in hand with mitigation, and we are committed to increasing Britain’s ability to cope with extreme weather conditions, for example by improving our flood prevention measures."

I will plant shorter season varieties, just in case scientists are right about Global cooling, due to a flat sunspot activity cycle. I will use some .42 cent N instead of the .70 cent stuff. Apparently they blinked. I will agree with T4 that the CWB is behind every problem in Western Canada and there is a conspiracy to rob him. For Parsley , more sun, to illuminate her personality and quell her negativity. L.O.L.

I totally agree with Parsley's comments with regards to the CWB. I will have as much tolerance and respect for the CWB supporters as they have for me. PMSH, you had your chance to abolish this horrid institution last fall, but chose not to. Consequently any further donations to your party will be withheld until you finally deal with this matter. Those are my resolutions!

Whinning and snivelling, NEVER goes out of style. Us farmers, should all git together and let out a collective sigh. Maybe the Cracker or Harpie will hear it in Otttawa!
