Maybe we will finally see the historic gold/wheat price ratio come back into line.

Since when is a drought measured in dollars? That's what the map is based on. We almost always have short crops in some part of the world. Could it be someone is trying to talk up their position?

The first map without going back and looking at it was based on economic agricultural output in net dollars the second was drought I will look again tonight if I have time and sure lots of sites out there push their own agenda but there is no such thing as bad information where properly researched and colaborated by other sources, what you do with it Zaphod is up to you from there.
Interestingly one of the stories on the noon news today on CTV was showing the extent of the Chinese drought should we discount that information? Of course I also read where China has lots of wheat in store and this drought won't lead to them being a net importer of wheat this year.
Lots of info out there again what you want to make of it or do with it is up to you.

Lottsa lying going on, when it comes to markets, especially commodities. Hard to believe anything these days. Look at a newspaper, full of car ads and lies entertainment. The news, has become, the news show, competing for viewers. Octuplets, anyone, weird stuff, makes headlines. Agriculture does not, unless, starvation occurs. Not likely though coz Costco and Wallymart has got a lotta stuff!
