So were going to drop wheat and seed Canola.
Thats nice but why are seed sales of Canola low in Saskatchewan outlets?

Just a note to highlight this is a Agriculture Canada forecast based on their analysts
opinion and not a survey based statistics Canada one. The analysts names are usually
included with the articles so you can contact them directly to discuss the numbers.

Saskfarmer I remember how big a fan you are of Bedards. I never minded her will be interesting to see how they do it now.

Being a widely read report, useful to know changes. Spoke with Terry Bedard today and found out that she will not lead the government's weekly crop report this year. After 12 years of doing this, it has been shifted to the "Ag Knowledge Center", a Regional Service Branch in Moose Jaw. Was advised that this report is likely to start later in April(not early April) and will be released on a Thursday or Friday (not Monday). No public reason was cited for the change, but will be interesting to see if it can retain the same level of discretionary insight. Another note: For those who download weekly cash data (fob Saskatoon), the government cite has been dead since Jan 21. Was promised this will be fixed. Regards, Greg Kostal

Thanks Greg Yes I never did like her so as far as I am concerned the Prov has done a good service for farmers. She was their for the NDP to make the City people feel things were always Rosy on the farm. Smoke and Mirror. Will see what the new system is like. Then Judge.
