5600 in 09

Huge drop in barley acres

My canola acreage will double in 09, bought some new land that has never seen canola. Not saying acres cuz most of you have more canola than my whole farm acres!!! Needless to say, my piddly amount will not flood the market.

We have been pushing pulse rotations hard the past couple of years and Cereals are sucking.

Acres down 20% due maxed acres in 2008. This area is close to 50% canola as it is. Not much room for acres to increase.
