We've been considering getting one for a while now and are trying to justify the extra expense. How do you make use of your blackberry? Can you fill in excel spreadsheets? Enter in expenses as they come in? Can you view weather radar stations, or do you need a computer for that? What else do you guys do with it? Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciative.

I surf the net. Markets, weather, put movies on it to shut the kids up. The camera is handy. I haven't set up my email but keep meaning to. The phone quality is excellant and it has lasted 18 months which is a record for me (oilfield and farm on top of my neglience). I have the pearl but would go with a full keyboard if I got another. Oh yeah, the GPS feature is good. You click on find location and it brings up preloaded street map of your location. You can also type in a street address or town and it will show you directions. The capabilities are unreal for an old guy to figure out.

I have bb curve and it saves me lots of time and money.
I get all my home email delivered to my bb so that saves me an hour or 2 each night checking email at home.
I have not purchased a auto trader, truck trader, or magazine since I got my bb. Check out everything online. Went to the city for parts today not sure of the address where I was going to. Googled the name of the business and it showed me the address with google maps.
Surf agri ville from my bb and do not have to check it out at home. I am posting this from my bb right now.
It is like having the biggest library in the world in your pocket.

I know why its called a crack berry. Since I got mine a year ago its with me all the time. Except when the wife takes it away. (Mexico).
I love the radar weather maps. Wow sprayed last year storm near Regina kept spraying storm looked awful, kept spraying watched as it sunk south then disappeared never quit all day.
Grain markets at your finger tips. High speed Internet to your lap top. but this is where the costs start to escalate. I use it as a modem at lake and in field. Its faster than dial up. Go with the unlimited data or else your bill will be huge. DONT USE IT AS A MODEM IN USA>
