Froze south of Houston Texas last couple of nights!

Lots of chatter on the cold temps in US the last few nights. Pictures today on Ag Talk from a producer south of Houston showing corn that's not to nice.
Also my contact in Brazil laughs some one is lying about the crop and he cant figure out why. Total for Brazil in Beans will be 55 mil crop. Argentina a few weeks ago told us they were wrong and the drought did affect the crop and thus lower results.
I find it funny that people on ground tell it like it is yet the experts dont get it, or they do and see it as a way to cheat the markets for their own gain. Soy and Canola could go higher in June and July.

You say people on the ground tell it like it is. I seem to remember last year, on this very sight, that the talk was of all the cold and devastating conditions we were going through with our canola crop in May and June. After all was said and done we had a record crop, and by quite a bit, I might add. So my question is; Were people on the ground NOT telling it like it is, or do people on the ground just not know until it is in the bin, whether that is here or half way around the world?

Gee GRRR lets kick me again on that. This is a guy I trust. Simply put last year not all farmers in Western Canada had a Bin Buster on Canola and I wish some of you would realize that. Yes some of us did but some didn't.
